A nice crowd of active buyers participated in our 9th Annual Bull Sale at the Sonstegard Sale facility.  Bulls sold into 8 states.

The high selling Yearling bull was Lot 8 3SCC Trend Setter Z335, a very complete son of Basin Trendsetter 45S5 out of a Glacier Hi Country 926 daughter, he sold for $9,500 to Kokesch Farms of Stewart, MN.

Lot 3 3SCC Minnesota Z101 was a stout ET son out of LJC Mission Statement P27 by the Seeger Heidi 9905 cow, he sold for $9,000 to Kemen Farms Red Angus of Madison, MN.  

Lot 9 3SCC Big Timber Z50 was a Badlands Timberlake 06X son out of a KF Bandolier 814 daughter.  He sold for $7,000 to Michael Fruechte of Pipestone, MN.    

The top selling 2 year old bull was Lot 59 3SCC Zeus Y128, a son of 3SCC Zeus T70 out of a LJC Mission Statement P27 daughter.  He sold for $4,000 to Kent VanderWal of Bruce, SD.

The high selling bred heifer was Lot 59 a HXC Jackhammer 8800U daughter bred to Koester Chivas 005.  She sold for $5,900 to Kemen Farms Red Angus of Madison, MN.  

Lot 9 was a Red Six Mile Sakic 832S daughter bred to Basin Hobo 0545.  She sold for $5,000 to Kokesch Farms of Stewart, MN.  

Lot 11 was a 3SCC Zepplin S99 daughter bred to SPUR Ground Pounder Y114.  She sold for $4,750 to Bergeland Stock Farms of Volga, SD.  

Lot 17 was a Basin Trend Setter 45S5 daughter bred to 5L Full Throttle 2237-340W.  She sold for $4,750 to Double RL Red Angus of Maynard, MN.  

The high selling elite open heifer was Lot 21 a Basin Trend Setter 45S5 daughter.  She sold for $5,500 to Weber Land & Cattle of Lake Benton, MN.

The high selling bred cow was a RRM ET Grand Canyon Hannah daughter bred to LSF Boxed Beef 9063W.  She sold for $5,500 to Kokesch Farms of Stewart, MN.

Lot 30 was a 3SCC Zepplin S99 daughter bred to Bieber Rough Rider X378.  She sold for $4,000 to Steven Koedam of Edgerton, MN.    

Lot W was a set of 3 red Commercial Red Angus bred heifers bred by Sonstegard calving ease bulls and due to calve in May.  They sold for $1,900 each going to Michael Coffey of Mass City, MI.  

Lot C was a set of 5 red Commercial Red Angus bred heifers bred by Sonstegard calving ease bulls and due to calve in mid March.  They sold for $1,850 each going to Rustad Farms of Clontarf, MN.
